It is largely concerned with the development of the Midland basin's Spraberry and Wolfcamp formations, in addition to the Delaware basin's Wolfcamp and Bone Spring formations, which are both located in West Texas and New Mexico are part of the Permian Basin. As of December 31, 2020, the business held about 449,642 gross acres in the Permian Basin, with approximate proved oil and natural gas reserves of 1,316,441 thousand barrels of crude oil equivalent. Additionally, it possessed operating interests in 4,326 gross producing wells and royalty interests in another 4,553 wells. Additionally, the company owns mineral interests approximately 787,264 gross acres and 24,350 net royalty acres in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford Shale; and owns, operates, develops, and acquires midstream infrastructure assets in the Permian Basin, including 927 miles of crude oil gathering pipelines, natural gas gathering pipelines, and an integrated water system.
