Lyft Inc-A (LYFT.xnas) is an American ridesharing and transportation services company headquartered in California, the United States. Lyft Inc develops, markets, and operates an online platform offering cars and transportation devices such as motorized scooters and a bicycle-sharing system for hire as well as providing food delivery. LYFT is currently the second-largest company of its kind in the United States, having a $16.57B (USD) market cap, 4675 employees, and $2.3B (USD) revenue. Lyft Inc-A (LYFT.xnas) is traded on the NASDAQ in Class-A as a constituent of the Russel 1000 Index. LYFT suffered huge losses during the pandemic, with its customers dropping from 22.9M in 2019 to 12.5 in just one year. Recently, Lyft Inc partnered with German car rental company Sixt to let LYFT customers access Sixt’s rental services on a commission basis. In December 2020, Lyft Inc announced that it would launch a multi-city robotaxi service in 2023 with Motional. In 2021, LYFT has sold its self-driving division to Toyota.
